Tired of viewing your email in portrait mode on your Palm Pre device? Now view email in landscape mode by entering a simple hack discovered by a PreCentral tipster. When in the email application enter "RocknRollHax" (case sensitive) on your keyboard and this will allow the landscape mode feature. Word is Palm thought landscape mode would be too buggy for the device so they hid it.  The only problem with this is you have to enter the hack everytime you start up the email application.  Lets see how long this lasts.

LG #2 Cellphone Maker by 2012

With Motorola being out and Sony Ericsson having problems, LG has become the #3 cellphone maker last year. In an interview to Yonhap news agency, Ahn Seung-kwon, president for LG's mobile business, mentioned that the company plans to become #2 by 2012. This would mean, a battle against Samsung. Will LG win the battle? TWe have to find out in the future. It's 3 years from now and a lot of things could happen within that time period.

BlackBerry Tour headed for Alltel as well

Apple Recommends Ideal Temperature Range for the iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS

Reports regarding overheating iPhones have surfaced recently and Apple has responded by issuing a support document that advises users to use and store the iPhone in the recommended temperature range. The iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS should be used at temperatures between 0º and 35º C (32º to 95º F). The high-end smartphones should be stored at temperatures between -20º and 45º C (-4º to 113º F).

HTC Hero gets US 3G approval

FCC HTC Hero

The HTC Hero will be released in the UK in a matter of days, but the FCC reveals an approval for the device with US 3G.  The handset has be approved for WCDMA on Bands II and V, meaning 1900 and 850MHz, or for use on the AT&T network.  I'm sure we'll hear more about the device coming to the US after it's initial release in Europe.
